Flying in Glendale: Airspace Considerations
Western Glendale — including the Grand Central and San Fernando Road corridors — falls within Hollywood Burbank Airport's Class C airspace, where flights operate on LAANC authorization at managed grid altitudes. Downtown and the eastern foothills are generally more permissive. As everywhere in LA's studio geography, animation and production campuses are only photographed with facility authorization.
